My husband was diagnosed with a mini stroke about a year ago but now he has dizzy spells from time to time, this last time it is lasting a full week. The dr says it could be hardening of the arteries at the base of the brain, he is scheduled for a ct scan. The dizzyness is causing loss of balance on a 24 hour basis. The room is not spinning nor is it when he gets up from sitting position.
