(I know this is not exactly in the right category but its quite specialised so I put in in the nearest catagory I could find) Considering I used to have a medical-type job, I'm not very good at looking after my health. Wish I did not have a skin allergy. I do not feel ill, or really look ill, but my skin itches like crazy. So why do I get odd looks. Skin allergies can come as a dermatitis, which is itchy and scaley, with rashed spots filled with fluid. In my case it will itch so bad that I bleed and it then spreads. I was given patch test all 27 of them, and phew I reacted, but was a surprize that I reacted so badily. I am allergic to Nickel, which is in cheap jewellery: anything under 22 carat gold. First of all what is contact dermatitis? It is a skin reaction that occurs when you have been exposed to something which irritates your skin. It's little blisters on your skin filled with fluid.It's very red and very tender. When the blisters burst your skin starts to crack and dries up to the extent where it get's really painful.
