pcos has been a big part of my life for the last year and a half. the usual syptoms apply here, excess hair, acne, very irregular periods, acute abdominal pain and mood swings. i was put on dianette originally but it just made me feel worse, then it was cilest again just made things worse and lastly a normal progestion only pill that gave me migraines. the doctors i have seen have been very dismissive and one even told me that i should feeling lucky because i dont get periods very often. at the moment i'm waiting for a referral to a specialist to decide what other options i have. i've not tried for a baby yet but i know it could very diffucult as my mum also had pcos and recently my sister was diagnosed (shes 3 months pregnant didnt even try for a baby). my mum had a hysterectomy at 25 my last doctor said i should have one when i'm 23. i'm 20.

i have a great boyfriend but he cant cope with the depression and the crying when i wake up in the morning with a spotty chest.

at the moment its a uphill struggle i'm on no medication in attempt to deal by myself but when i see the specialist i'm going to ask him about the pill again. we'll see how it goes.
