 ... years old and 5ft1, 6 and a half stone. I'm not scientifically overweight but have always felt much larger than anyone ive ever met. When i look in the mirror, i see a huge monster. I have now come to accept that this is not the truth, but i will never be able to see myself differently to an obese person. I am also very obsessed with my facial appearance. I have been diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder a few years ago. It is thought it is a result of my schizophrenia. But it is a whole new nightmare in itself, and i have found it much harder to break out of this mental illness than any other. Ive been given several medications, but i dont beleive any of them are specifically helping my problem at all. I feel happier and less moody, but still trapped in a confusion of self image.
