Whilst strolling through my mindless weekly shop in asda, one aisle I tend to linger around the longest is the skincare/make up aisle. Why? Because like any woman I guess I am looking for something that will live up to every promise and actually do what it says. Im sick of products claiming to "make skin look visibly younger in 10 days", or "with one application you will see immediate benefits". Yeah right. But the thing is we're all striving to hang on to our youthful looks, our smooth as a baby's bottom complexion, (thing is I never really ever had a smooth as a baby's butt complexion). From my early teens right up until my ... Read the complete review

*NOTE: Title to be sung to the tune of Oklahoma!* My girlfriend works as a nursery teacher and has to wash her hands several times a day. This means that without the use of proper skin care products, she goes all crusty and horrible! One thing that she uses to combat this problem is Neutrogena concentrated hand cream. Being a very manly man, I never thought I would need to use a skin care product. But as a postman, I handle(d) thousands of letters a day, in all sorts of weather and this had taken its toll on my hands. My hands had become dry and what's worse, very itchy from all this rubbing. Being thoroughly recommended by my better half, I thought ... Read the complete review

Strong as I like to appear, advertising can influence me greatly. While spending a year in America my skin decided to go on a 14-year-old appearance binge!!! Even if you've never been to America you must have some idea about advertising over there - it is every where ALL the time. Well the lovely Jennifer Love-Hewitt frequented my screen telling me how wonderful all the Neutrogena products were and how the amazing oil free acne wash will cleanse my skin deeper than any other face wash leaving me with noticably clearer skin...of course, in my fast becoming desparate state I rushed out and bought a bottle of the beautiful orange liquid!! It only took ... Read the complete review

Neutrogena's Clear Pore lotion, for oily/spot prone skin, is a clear light treatment which is a cleanser/toner in one. The word lotion being misleading, as this is an astringent product with the consistency of water (and some would say with the same effectiveness! :). This is one of the expensive range of skin treatments that are supposed to penetrate into your pores and improve the condition of your skin. Hmmmmm.. Up to £3.99 for 150ml, but it lasts quite a while. An impressive list of ingredients include: witch hazel, chamomile, lavender, aloe vera, mint, grapefruit, rosemary and eucalyptus extracts. I use it everyday ... Read the complete review

What the hell is this? They say these 'clear pore' products clean your pores but they don't!! And not only do they not work, they make the matter worse!! It's one thing if it doesn't work, as everyone's skin is different but these products MADE MY SKIN WORSE!! Uggh! It made my skin all greasy, which is the last thing you want from a spot control moisturiser! These Neutrogena people are backward!!! I have gone back to using my trusty old Clean and Clear but the Neutrogena has left some spots lurking on my chin! And a lovely batch of blackheads on my nose! And the things just won't bugger off!! I hate Neutrogena ... Read the complete review
