A lot of the time that i come here to review a product, i find that it doesn't have its own category. So on this occassion i shall review Nivea's "Satin Sheen Body Moisturiser." It's a product i've been using for a while now, and so much part of my that i almost forget i'm doing it. I can't find it in my local shops now, so i'm unsure if it's still available, but i shall review it in the hope that its still around. Having not yet found a really decent deodorant, I saw this almost glue stick (!?) sized Nivea dry “deo-compact” on TV and decided to give it a go. The annoying advert shows a man who has had a woman at his for the night asking her if she needs anything. She says no, I’ve got my own deodorant, Hmm, not at all tacky. Anyway, he then asks her if he will see her again and she replies she’ll be ok for the next 79 nights. Clever huh? Of all the anti-perspirants I've used over the years, none have actually done what it says it's supposed to. I've tried Soft and Gentle, Natrel Plus, Sure and loads more, but I wanted a deodorant that not only keeps me smelling fresh all day but keeps me dry too, and as I work in a busy newagents I need a reliable one that will last all day. Having been a fan of Nivea most of my life, probably because my mother always had a tub on the go in the days before Nivea expanded its range into more complex products, and after seeing it advertised, I was keen to try Visage All Day Aqua, especially, as it claimed 24 hour continuous moisturising. Upon opening the pot I was amazed to see that the cream was not the usual boring white but blue! I am a fan of Nivea - and I have been so most of my life. Using Nivea body lotion is something my mother started with and i sort of got used to it too. I am so satisfied that I have never bothered to use any other brand when it comes to body lotion (which is unusual for a shopoholic like me). The cream comes in a rather boring bottle, nothing flashy here! The cream itself is just white. I must say it can be a little bit sticky and if you aply too much - well you will have to sit down and wait for it to dry. But the result is amazing - smooth, healthy looking skin.
