I’ve just done something quite extraordinary, a first for me, with impressive results! And I’m going to tell you about it. I shouldn’t have been doing this all afternoon. I have an assignment to complete for my Open University Course and my lovely daughter and the boys are coming to stay for a week on Saturday, and I should be shopping, dusting, planning menus, doing my roots and trying to tidy my computing attic which is piled high with paper, cups, ashtrays, the ivy growing through the eaves and an invasion of Crickets rubbing their thighs together and making ‘chirpy-chirpy-cheep-cheep’ noises! Instead I’ve been on a visit ... Read the complete review

With my Mum’s birthday looming, I have been stuck as to what to get her. I normally get her chocolates or something like that. This year a friend recommended that I get her an ‘Oil of Olay’ set, they are quite cheap and most mothers as my friend says like to receive the cosmetic set. So, I bought it for my Mum, to my surprise it only costs £6 which I thought was very reasonable. I am sure we’ve all seen the Oil of Olay advertisements, stunning models who don’t look a day older that 30 and this product works magic almost instantly. Surely, nothing can be that good. Winter is a really tough time for skin. It's wrapped up in layers of clothing and hardly gets any air to it. There's no sunlight to give it that youthful glow and provide it with the vitamins it needs. So, what can you do about it? Olay have the answer to that problem. Their new Touch Sensory Moisturising Cream can help make your body feel as soft as a baby's bum. The cream is water based and has a light fragrance. It rubs in quite quickly as its water based. You only need to apply it once a day as it is designed to last for 24 hours. It works as well! My skin stayed soft and peachy until the next day. You don't ned to use a lot as it ... Oil of Ulay has been around forever. I remember seeing their basic hand and face creams on my mum's dressing table when I was a nipper. The stuff was always a lurid pink then and had a very strong smell, but to me it was glamour incarnate. Except it's not Oil of Ulay now, it's Oil of Olay. Apparently this has always been its name on the continent, and they thought it was time to bring us in line. It's not bright pink any more either, and it's not just hand and face cream. Nowadays Olay do a massive range of skincare products and make-up to suit every type of skin and colouring. Now, I'm a Lancome girl through and ... Read the complete review
