With my Mum’s birthday looming, I have been stuck as to what to get her. I normally get her chocolates or something like that. This year a friend recommended that I get her an ‘Oil of Olay’ set, they are quite cheap and most mothers as my friend says like to receive the cosmetic set. So, I bought it for my Mum, to my surprise it only costs £6 which I thought was very reasonable. I am sure we’ve all seen the Oil of Olay advertisements, stunning models who don’t look a day older that 30 and this product works magic almost instantly. Surely, nothing can be that good. After, I gave my mum the set she was very complementary about the results. The cleanser contained a deep moisturiser and left skin feeling smooth and almost silky. But the good thing I am told is that it doesn’t leave your skin greasy. So, complementary was my Mum that next time I went to her house I decided to use a bit myself. It was very easy to apply and only a little bit goes a long way. After a bit I too realised the moisturising affect the lotion had on my skin. My skin was definitely smoother and I would even go as far as saying more lively. It seems to most obvious items like cosmetics, lotions make the best gifts. I know my choice of gift may have been a bit more creative, but I know that my Mum was happy with what she got. The bottle lasts for a long time, and at £6 is well worth paying for. (Don’t worry I did buy her something else). Nivea is another good moisturising lotion but at the moment I prefer Oil of Olay, very pleased with it’s results although the adverts do exaggerate the results, if you use this product daily then you will find a difference. Oil of Olay is available from most chemists, Superdrug and boots stores. The price is reasonable and they have a good range of products to chose from. The set of two lotions one cleanser, and one moisturiser make a good gift to give. Origina
l but good nonetheless.

- 17/07/01 Hmm....difficult one this. I associate Olay or Ulay as it was called with my mother. If I buy this for my new bride, will she think:
a) "oh what a nice thought"
b) " oh my god! He thinks Im looking old!"
A blokes life is never easy!
Great op though |
