Other AvedaNewest Review: ... went to the mirror to try this luxurious serum. I soon found out just how wonderful and concentrated this stuff is! As I said, I have tried serums before but always found that I needed to use lots more than the recommended amount to see any effect. So, obviously I presumed the same would apply to the Aveda serum. Aahhh… how wrong I was! I put about six or seven pumps out of the dispenser into my palm, I rubbed my hands together to spread the serum around, and then continued to apply the serum all over my hair. I then brushed it through. What did I look like? Well, to say I looked like I’d dipped my head in a vat of oil wou... more |

AVEDA PUREFUME BRILLIANT EMOLLIENT FOR HAIR Aveda Purefume brilliance serum is quite simply the most luxurious, most sensuous and to put it bluntly most expensive hair product I have ever experienced! I have long, thick, dry hair, which needs lots of conditioner to make it smooth and shiny. Sometimes though, no matter how much conditioner I use I still do not get the silkiness I would like. I have tried numerous lotions and potions on my hair to try and make it shine, but nothing seemed to work. I tried shining sprays, which just ended up making my hair look greasy, I tried serums, but they all smelt hideous and gave me a headache. ... Read the complete review

When I first saw Aveda being sold on TV I was highly sceptical, what made a shampoo worth £7.00 a bottle, when I usually spent about 99 pence on a shampoo. Well I listened and thought about the condition of my own hair at the time. I washed it everyday because otherwise it became oily and itchy, I never used a conditioner because it made my hair dull and heavy. Thinking about it carefully it only really looked good for the first couple of hours after washing it, so I gave Aveda a try, and I was amazed at the difference. I started out with the detox shampoo and rosemary and mint conditioner. My hair was clean and shiny and stayed that way for a couple of days. After a ... Read the complete review

Curessence This is Aveda's most intensive conditioner and one of very few currently on the market that contains a protein restructuring complex. Protein is necessary to actually effect any kind of repair to damaged hair - and this is probably the secret of this product's success. When I say 'repair' that doesn't mean the hair is as good as new, of course. Think of it rather as patching clothes or putting filler in a rust spot on the car. The keratin molecules do bond with the protein in the hair, but there is nothing on the planet that will actually make it as strong as it was. Used regularly, though (say once a week or so) it will ... Read the complete review

I have been using various Aveda haircare products for the past 7 years, this company produces the finest shampoos, conditioners etc. that money can buy. Take my advice stop using brands that you find in your highstreet shops and switch to Aveda, you will not regret it! The whole attitude of Aveda is natural, all the ingredients are organically grown and do not use any animal by-products(unlike most) and of course they do not test on animals, which they haven't done in their 20 year history. Do not be put off by thinking that is more expensive, as it usually works out cheaper than most, as the product is of better quality therefore you tend to use ... Read the complete review
