THE BODY SHOP WHITE MUSK EAU DE PARFUM


Well, seeing as my most recent ops have a theme to smelling nice, I'll keep going. I have to admit, I'm terrible for perfume. I've got loads of the stuff in loads of different smells. Cheap, Expensive, I've got the lot, but smelling nice always adds a nice finishing touch to yourself.

THE PRODUCT
One of my favourite perfumes at the moment is The Body Shop White Musk Eau De Parfum. It is the kind of perfume you can wear day or evening and it is really nice. It comes in a clear bottle with a matt silver lid which looks really smart on my dressing table without being over the top. The box it comes in is a lilac colour with the product name on it. The box and perfume is quite dinky, it is 30ml in size but as it is a Eau De Parfum (I will explain a bit more later) it does last a long time because it is really strong.

THE SMELL
The smell of this perfume is really nice. White musk is really hard to describe but it has almost a talcum powder smell but more posh and strong - perfume experts must think I'm mad! It can be worn day or night, as it has one of those versatile scents that is suitable for all occasions which is why it is one of my favourites.

THE PRICE
This perfume was a gift, but I have been in the body shop myself and it costs around £7.00, which is really reasonable as it is a quality perfume and many good quality perfumes can cost up to £50! I would definitely buy this again when it runs out, as it is definitely worth the money.

THE WEBSITE
www.the-body-shop.com is the website for the Body Shop. It is really interesting to look at as it contains a lot of information about the products and what other things that the body shop does, which may be worth a look. I looked up the section of white musk and it stated that the body shop was the first place to use synthesised musk and is still voted their number one fragrance by customer
s the world over - it really must be good then! The body shop also supports community trade, so you know that your money that you are paying for the perfume is also going towards a good cause and people are getting fairly paid for the work that they do.

WHAT KINDS OF STRENGTH PERFUMES ARE THERE?
As I said earlier, this perfume is a Eau De Parfum. It is strong, therefore the bottle sizes are usually smaller and more expensive. Below are perfume names and what they mean:
- Extract/Concentrate - This is the strongest form of Perfume, and is the most expensive. This will last the longest on your skin.
- Eau De Parfum - This is the second strongest, but it contains more alcohol than the concentrate.
- Eau De Toilette - This is weaker again, but it is much cheaper than the others.
- Cologne - this is the most weak form of perfume, usually available in large quantities for really cheap. This does not really last a long time on your skin, so you can squirt it around a bit!


HOW TO GET THE MAXIMUM EFFECT
The best places to put perfume is your pulse points, Your Neck, Wrists, Ankles, Back of your Knees, elbows and cleavage. This gives the perfume the maximum effect. It is not a good idea to spray your clothes as the perfume is designed to react with your skin and you may stain your clothes!

WHO IS IT FOR
Any lady who loves to smell pretty and nice should give this a try! Wouldn't recommend if for the guys, though!

OVERALL
In conclusion, this perfume is really good and well worth the money spent. I have had it a month or two now and still have quite a bit left! It is really nice and is definitely a treasured part of my perfume collection!
