Advantages: Not tested on animals , fraction of the price of the designer scents, widely avaiable

Disadvantages: Very basic smells, no frills

The Body shop perfumes are all so naturally beautiful smelling that I always keep a bottle mixed in with all my other designer scents! Ever since I was young I have had a real love for vanilla and the Body shop Vanilla range was the best thing that they ever did as far as I was concerned. However, the decided to discontiune the range, but the still have the vanilla perfume to buy thankfully.

You can buy it in either the perfume oil format in 3 sizes which lasts a lot longer and can also be used in the bath (very handy), or you can buy the eau de toilette which is lighter and doesn't lst so long, but sometimes you need perfume in a spray form and the oil isn't the right option. The oil tends to be more expensive, but then you don't need as much, so it is probably more cost effective in the long term.

Everyone that I ever meet comments if I am smelling of vanilla, most find that it reminds them of childhood for some reason and many have told me that i remind them of playdough when I wear it, I loved the smell of playdough so I really don't mind. It isn't the kind of perfume that I wish to wear all the time, but I like it in summer. The best bit of all about any of the Body shop perfumes and there are many, such as the very well known Dewberry scent, or strawberry, is that they are all not tested on animals, that alone has to be worth it.
