Collection 2000 is a company based in England that manufactures make up products. I had not heard about them till this year when my aunt recommended me their compressed face powder. I bought the compressed face powder in Lloyds pharmacy, to be honest Lloyds pharmacy is the last place I would have thought of buying face powder or any other make up products. The face powder was rather cheap and only cost me £1.99. This was just the same price as my other face powders which I normally bought on the market. Face powder for my type of skin is sometimes hard to find especially when I am not living in a black community such as London etc. Therefore, I was happy ... Read the complete review

This review is for collection 2000- glam glitter. This product cost me 2 pounds 99 pence, and comes in a selection of different colours such as black, purple, pink and gold. It is a double ended stick and the first wand contains a clear fixing gel that you apply to your eyelids like normal eyeshadow. Then the second wand contains the glitter that you brush onto the fixing gel and this makes the glitter stick to your eyelids. It's a creates a brilliant effect when on and i love it, as i love all things glittery, the only bad thing i'd say about it though is that when you apply the glitter if your not carefull it tends to go everywhere ... After walking around with gold talons for the better part of a week, the nail polish had chipped to such an extent that retouching it wasn't really an option. A quick visit to Superdrug later, and I was armed with a bottle of Collection 2000's "Conditioning Nail Polish Remover". Since the bottle only cost 99p, I wasn't expecting much. However, after only five minutes of scrubbing, it had removed all the varnish (yes, all three coats!) and left my nails shiny. Usually nail polish removers leave my fingernails looking dull and without lustre. It wasn't the case with this product. The bottle contains 150ml and looks perfect for ... Read the complete review

collection 2000. ok so its not a great high street name. you wont see j-lo or Jennifer Anderson pulling them out of their makeup bag and re-applying at a top hollywood party but for the everyday girl like you and me collection 2000 is a god send. the purchase; i have spent so much money on lippys over the years, there was the olay at £8 that has never left my makeup bag, he lip finitys that cost about £12 and left my lips dry and cracked and the maybelline that i lost before i got it home! i was fed up of spending a fortune on lipstick so when i saw the collection 2000 in a basket at my local chemist foronly £1.75 i had to have one. in fact i got ... I am still at two minds about this product. The packaging is somewhat tacky (but what cheap make up packaging isn't?) but I find the eyeliner a lot easier to apply than the rimmel eyeliner and a lot quicker drying. The brush is just the right stiffness for easy application whereas I found the rimmel one to be too limp and very difficult to apply. The main problem I have found with this product is that it isn't a durable as I had hoped. It is very prone to cracking especially in a clubbing atmosphere where my make up involves quite extravigant designs. I find that it cracks the most in the inner and outer corners of the eyes. I just which that that I ... Read the complete review
