Don't let the title fool you, this ain't a description about men in general, no, it is an opinion on Givenhy's Pi range of products.

Why the title? Apparently the Pi range of products is aimed at the "energetic and sensual" male. Since I didn't even buy the product myself, I am not sure how that applies to me, but here is the op:

I have quite a few of these designer cologne's and I have to admit that Pi is my favourite.

Firstly the setup:

I never like the idea of buying the EDT or the aftershave on its own, I think that conflicting smells on your body will make a mess of things. Hence, I used to buy the EDT and the "aftershave balm", that way, with the use of a "non-scented" deodorant I would have one "set" of cologne on me. With PI I have decided to also buy the deodorant stick.

EDT

The EDT was given to me as a present. The bottle is large and does not have a cap, it has an arch over the spray nozzle insead. The bottle is colorless but the EDT is dark yellowish.

It smells excellent. It is a "woody" fragrance that contains (this is taken from the bottle) "Tangerine, Pine needle, infinium, ironwood and benzoin crystals". Now, how exactly does it smell? I can't tell you, I am sure that you'd try it before you buy anyway.

I like the smell and so does my wife and everyone else that has noticed it. It is a long lasting smell but not overwhelming (of course this depends on how much you sprayed). Usually I find that a couple of sprays last all day.


The "Apres Rasage" (or the "aftershave balm")

The aftershave balm comes in a cheap looking plastic container but that is not the point. It does not contain any alcohol, hence it does not burn when you put the cream on your face after shaving. I also really like the fact that it comes with the &qu
ot;pump" type of nozzle which means you do not waste any trying to take out a little bit.


Stick deodorant
---------------

Firstly let me say that I HATE stick deaodorants, they are always sticky and hence I have always stayed away from them. However, I noticed that the Givenchy one was not a "deodorant" but an "anti-perspirant". Hmm... interesting! So I bought one.

Does it work? YES! Amazingly enough this is one of the best anti-perspirants I have ever used. It actually passed the "London underground during heatwave" test with flying colors. It is scented to suit the EDT.

One thing to point out is that it does leave a white powder on your underarms, hence you cannot (well you can but most of would prefer that you didn't) wear it with something that does not have sleeves.

Overall, the best cologne "set" I have in my collection and I totally DO NOT remcommend it. I hate it when someone else wears the exact same cologne as I am wearing so please do me a favour and stay away from it! :-)
