Advantages: Remains natural looking and not orange
Disadvantages: Have to apply several times to achieve darker colour
JOHNSONS HOLIDAY SKIN MOISTURISING BODY LOTION
Having seen this product advertised on the television and not being a fan of looking tangoed, my past experience of fake tanning products has left me browned off.... I had to try it.
I bought a 250ml bottle in Tesco, I think I paid about £3.85 for it. I must admit the first time I tried it, I didnt notice an awful lot of difference in colour but in my haste to test it out I only applied it to my arms which are more coloured than my legs. I thought I would try it again a few days later as I was going out for the evening and I hate wearing tights. What tan I had managed to achieve on holiday in Florida in February was well and truly gone by now and my legs were not a pretty sight. The colour is not instant so I applied it in the afternoon and by the time the evening came my legs were a decent enough shade to be passable in a skirt. They didnt look orange and it was very natural looking, rather like a tan that is beginning to fade (and that was only the first application). I used it over the next few days and the colour builds slowly and really does look very natural.
This is a moisturiser that gradually builds a light tan, so would be ideal to use before a holiday or after you come back to maintain your healthy glowing look. It moisturises well and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth and has a lovely smell (quite citrussy) - not at all like other tanning products. It would not be suitable for those people who like a dark brown/orange colour (is there anyone that does?). It was very even and there were no streaks and it moisturises very well. All in all I think I have found the product that I have been searching for for a long time! I would definitely buy it again although I think it is a little pricey.
