After reading a review here about Johnsons Holiday Skin Moisturiser I decided to try it out. After past experiences with self-tan creams, sprays and gels I was scarred (well streaky anyway) and always dread the moment when my legs are going to be on show to the world.
I found this cream in Boots for £4.99 and bought the fair/normal option (there is a normal/dark formula) but having very fair skin this one didn't seem so frightening especially being mixed with a moisturiser.
That evening I exfoliated then applied the cream to both legs. I felt the cream needed about 10 minutes before I dared to dress and even then felt slightly damp but no staining occured on my clothes. A nice fragrance until a couple of hours later when I noticed a slight smell but not too overpowering.
Next morning my legs were a lovely, natural sun kissed shade (no streaks - hurray). I applied more of the cream and that afternoon my legs were a light golden colour. That evening applied some more and this morning they are a fabulous golden colour with no streaks and look very natural. I'M OVER THE MOON. After taking a shower there is no colour loss and no patchiness so I'm hoping the colour will last throughout my holiday but I will be taking the bottle with me - it's now my desert island product and I will never use a different one again.

Summary: Easy to apply, affordable, natural colour with no streaking, leaves skin silky soft.
