I've always been suspicious of self-tanning creams: streaks, weird orange hues and foul smells turn me off. Besides, the process is so laborious, you have to exfoliate first and then apply the product carefully or you might end up looking like a striped flag. But after using Estee Lauder's Self Action Go Bronze Tinted Self-Tanner for Face, I'm a convert, a full on born again self-tanner. First, this stuff isn't gloppy of stinky. Best of all, it's idiot proof. The stuff is tinted, meaning even a beauty lamebrain like me can apply a nice, even coat. Immediately after slathering some on my arms and legs (the box said it was for faces, but I'm a rebel), my appendages turned a lovely golden shade. A few hours later, the color deepened to a gorgeous honey-brown and I looked like A Baywatch girl (well, almost). Who says you can't have it all?
