Advantages: looks so natural, easy to apply
Disadvantages: bit expensive, watch those drips
Summer is rapidly appraoching, and whilst the lobsters are baking on the front lawn, I reach for my good old bottled tan. As the body shop campaign says, Smart girls fake it! I discovered Loreals Sublime Bronze fake tan when I was preparing for a Ball. The dress I bought was gorgeous...knee length, strappy and white and I have to admit, I looked pretty bood! But having just come back from a week in Greece, I had a fantastic tan and couldn't fail to look good. Unfortunately, I came home from holiday in the middle of September and the Ball was at the end of Novemeber and I was in great danger of looking like a snow flake, fading away into my dress. I dispise sunbeds, so the next best option was Boots. I found the nicest looking bottle, a spray cos I thought that would be the easiest to apply since I was a fake tan virgin and an expensive one....Loreal Sublime Bronze. And how impressed was I! Spray a bit on. rub it in (watch out for the drips) and two hours later you have a fantastic sun tan...easy peasy! So as my tan faded, I applied the fake stuff every couple of days to maintain an nice colouring. So what is so special about Loreal's fake tan.... * so easy to apply, takes two minutes * no streaks or spldges...as long as you rub it in * don't need to stand around for hours waiting for it to dry * turns you the exact colour of your natural tan so it looks totally real....at the Ball so many people asked me where I had been on holiday!! * it smells great There is one downside though.... it turns your hands orange. I told people that I had an accident with the iodine in the chemistry lab in the after school club I used to help out at...but if you don't have such an great excuse, it is the tell-tale sign of faking it. But I suppose that's is what a tanning mit is for... So now it is summer again. I am in my final year at Durham Uni and it seemed that the
days of the best sunshine coincided with my finals...so again, I just reached for my bottle and no-one would think anything other than I found a nice secluded spot in the garden to study! I tell my friends (selectively...don't want to give away my secrets!) but they are unconvinced. I agree that £10 is alot to pay for something that you don't have a great deal of faith in. But now you have heard all about it, there is no need to risk burning, or anything nastier, LOREAL SUBLIME BRONZE DOES WORK!
