Newest Review: ... So while rummaging through my bathroom the other day i was very happy to spot my tube of John Frieda Beach Blonde Sun Streaks! It's worth it too I think, because if you think about it, it can cost up to £120 to have highlights done in some salons, but if you are looking for a quick, new funky summer look it only costs £6.50 to try it out, and if you don't like it then there is ... more

... always the hair dressers! I bought my John Frieda Beach Blonde Sun Streaks in Safeways, but I have seen it in loads of places such as Boots and Superdrug .. its very easy to find!! As well as being easy to find it is simple to use too! Basically all you h...more

Premium Review Other John Frieda: They have always said blondes have much more fun! (522 words)

JOHN FRIEDA BEACH BLONDE SUN STREAKS Naturally I've always been a blonde ... but recently I decided to go nutty so i had brown low lights put underneath and brown streaks in with the blonde on top! I thought it looked good especially because it was winter and felt like warming up to the winter browns ... but i have sort of missed being so blonde on top! Unfortunately my hairdresser is pregnant at the moment, and she always does my hair fantastically but at the moment I have a real urge to be my normal blonde self again. Also taking into account that its not pay day yet is another reason why I can't be blonde instantly again! So while rummaging ...  Read the complete review

I have forgotten what the wonderful British winter weather does to my person, the runny nose, chapped lips and frizzy hair. Catching a glimpse of myself in a shop window I ran to Boots in desperation of some new, wondrous hair product that was going to make my hair frizz free, shiny, bouncy etc. After 20 minutes pacing up and down the aisles and much deliberation I threw a few various bottles and jars and cans into my shopping basket and hoped for the best. When I got home I perused my purchases and decided to try the John Frieda Frizz Ease Mousse, it was worth a shot. Packaging and Price Well the mousse cost me £3.99 for 200 ml, and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other John Frieda: A golden opportunity awaits you (658 words)

After my disastrous experience with 'John Frieda Sheer Blonde Styling Wax' I was reluctant to try any of his products again. With a little persuasion from my mate though, I went out and bought another of his products, this time with her recommendation. What product am I talking about? 'John Frieda Sheer Blonde Golden Opportunity' that's what. Costing nearly 4 quid from Boots, I was thinking to myself that it was another waste of cash. The tube only holds 125ml, not much there for that price. I'm really tight with my money, I only buy things of luxury if I really need them, but peer pressure won me over on that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cream of the Crop. (616 words)

Ahhhh, what a summer we had. After a damp and dismal start, the weather suddenly came good and, here in Cornwall, mr and mrs nikkisly took to the beach. Sun, sea and surfing throughout most of September and October - what could be more perfect? Well, perhaps if our hair hadn't paid the price for our beach-bumishness of late. Mine looks like a straw bale, while mr nikkisly's curls resemble an explosion in a mattress factory. John Frieda to the rescue! I'm a big fan of most John Frieda products simply because they seem to work on my hair. 'Miracle Masque', from his 'Ready to Wear' range was one that I hadn't tried until recently ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other John Frieda: Miracle mend realy does work miracles (429 words)

Although John Frieda Miracle Mend is recomended for very damaged, dyed hair, and despite the fact I have never dyed my hair, I was eager to snap this up. My hair is over waist length, so it needs a lot of tender loving care to keep it in good condition - I guess the ends are pretty geriatric for hair after all! I love the fact you can use this as a regular conditioner *and* as an intensive treatment - that does wonders for my faith in it's ability to be doing something, rather than just coating my hair in shiny gunk. And I'm shallow enough that the workman-like, medical-looking blue and silver tube of the packaging makes me think that way to. ...  Read the complete review
