Corsodyl - tastes like petrol, but does the trick! (Other Mouthwash)

Corsodyl is an over-the-counter mouthwash which is designed as a treatment for gingivitis. It is also for use after dental surgery or when you have ulcers, gum problems or the truly ghastly oral thrush. You use it twice a day and there is enough in one bottle for one course of treatment. I must warn you at this point that the stuff tastes like petrol. They have bought out a mint flavoured one (which I would go for if I were you), but it still just tastes like minty petrol. I used Corsodyl when I had a lot of root canal work and I found it very effective. The one thing you must be aware of is that it does tend to stain your teeth (not dramatically though!), you might need to pop to the dentist for a quick clean if this happens to you. I would definitely recommend this stuff to you if you have any gum problems or are having a lot of treatment. It's always a good idea to ask your dentist for advice though as this is an over-the-counter product not just a breath-freshening mouthwash.
