Cheap Sanitary Towels.

In times of economic turmoil we all need to start cutting back on our spending. It is for this reason that I am writing about cheaper brands of sanitary towels for us ladies. We all think about changing our utility suppliers, cutting back on the gym membership and buying supermarket own branded products, yet how many of us look into changing our feminine hygiene needs?

Don't look so shocked - we all know how important good hygiene is and no amount of saving money can compare against it. Yet I'm sure there are times when we can swap our fancy brands for a more basic brand.

Some of the advantages of the better known brands are the variety of products they offer; towels with wings, extra long towels, extra absorbing towels, ultra thin and so on. It is for these reasons that many women buy them - we can buy the products according to our individual needs and preferences - for which this is extremely important!

However have you ever wondered about those times when something more basic will do the job instead. For example if you are having a "light" day and are just pottering around the home, do you really need to wear an expensive towel?

A lot of supermarkets these days tend to offer their own branded towels, often at a fraction of the price. Take Somerfield for example, they offer a bag of 20 press on towels for around 30p - you can easily save well over a pound compared to some of the other brands (a good saving on just one product). Yes they are only basic, but they do the job. Like I mentioned before, such brands may not be suitable for "heavier" days or for when you are going out and want to make sure everything is well and truly stuck in place. That is of course the limiting factor about the cheaper brands - they are so cheap because they are so basic.

My advice is to go for a mixture of products - have some cheaper towels for when it is convienient to use them, but also have some branded products for when you need that extra protection.

Summary: Worth having some in stock.

Switch to a mooncup and you pay a one off £20 and it lasts a life time. Reviews for it on this site. It's a life changing purchase!
