Nice smell, but caused a rash (Other St Ives Swiss Formula)

I love St. Ives scrubs and have found them to not only be very effective in removing dead skin, but also to have a pleasant smell.

That is why I bought ST. IVES NOURISHING VANILLA AND VITAMIN E SHOWER CREAM.
I smelt it in the store and thought it was divine, I love vanilla smells so I thought I would give it a go.

It comes in a standard shower cream package, with a snap lid, where you press it upside down to make the contents come out.

When I first used it I used a loofah, and immediately started to feel a mild itch. It felt like a rash, and when I looked at my legs they were a slight reddish color.
I assumed that the loofah was irritating my skin so I stoppped using it. The cream smelt very nice and gave me a warm vanilla smell.

The next time I used this shower cream I didn't use a loofah but the same thing happened, my skin started to itch. After the third time I was convinced that it was the shower cream that was causing me discomfort, I stopped using it and I haven't had anymore problems.

I don't use very expensive brands, generally sticking with Dove, Radox and the occasional Body Shop product, so I was surprised that this shower cream bothered me. But I wont be buying it again, that's for sure, and it certainly put me on my guard against their products.

Summary: If you have sensitive skin, then dont buy this shower cream
