Newest Review: ... With this one the colour seems just to melt into the skin, and would suit anyone of any skin tone. Secondly, as with all foundations, it may be tricky to apply. This one is almost impossible to overload, and easy to wipe off if you do. Thirdly, most don't have a high enough protection factor. The factor here is SPF15. What I like most about this product is that it gives good coverage without making you look 'made up'. It does not have a greasy shine and though it's not matt it seems just to give the skin a healthy glow. It feels comfortable on the face, looks good for a whole day, and is easy to remove when you wa... more

Other Superdrug: Best tinted moisturiser ever. (251 words)

I have tried many tinted moisturisers, from the cheap'n'cheerful supermarket brands to the bank-busting designer French ranges, and Superdrug's Optimum tinted moisturiser is by by far the best. There are usually three problems with a product like this. Firstly, the shade may be all wrong. With this one the colour seems just to melt into the skin, and would suit anyone of any skin tone. Secondly, as with all foundations, it may be tricky to apply. This one is almost impossible to overload, and easy to wipe off if you do. Thirdly, most don't have a high enough protection factor. Premium Review Wipe it off in one swoop! (632 words)

Well, I'll write about my latest bargain beauty find here as there does not appear to be a specific category for it. My favourite outlet for beauty and health products is Superdrug purely for their easy to navigate store (my local one anyway), good competitve prices - often much cheaper than boots and the like, and their good quality range of own brand products. With all that in mind I went in there the other week for a few bits and pieces and while wandering round the store was reminded that I needed some facial cleanser/make-up remover as I found myself in the skincare aisles. I've always preferred the 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 facial wipes for this ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other Superdrug: Superdrug Olive Facial Scrub - yippee! (315 words)

I say "Yippee!" as it has taken me years to find a facial scrub to suit my truly appalling skin. I have been "blessed" with dry, sensitive skin and have always been told that exfoliating is good for dry skin. What I wasn't told is that every facial scrub on the market would leave my skin red and sore. When I was in Superdrug recently I spotted a skincare range called "Olive" which I'd not seen before. It was on special offer so I thought I'd give the facial scrub a go despite the vile packaging. I got home and immediately headed for the bathroom. I wet my face, I slapped it on and scrubbed away. No irritation so far - ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Intensely moisturising (465 words)

*Superdrug intensive foot cream* I have to apologise for this op – I am a foot hater and since this is a foot cream... Fellow foot haters, please look away now. Saying that I love my boyfriend’s feet – so soft, the swine. I have small, horrible dry feet – I always have had. Fed up of having horrible feet compared to Mike’s baby soft ones I decided on drastic action – buying some kind of foot cream. I look at the wellbeing/Boots website but the foot cream I liked the look of was out of stock so I decided to wait a while. I waited until I went to Superdrug in town and saw something that look pretty good ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other Superdrug: Natural High Lip Moisturiser (267 words)
by - written on 23/08/00 (Very useful, 137 readings)
Rating:

Superdrug's 'Natural High' range is excellent - funky, expensive looking packaging, high performance products and, best of all, amazingly low prices. The lip moisturiser comes in a lilac tube with a shaped end to smooth the cream over your lips as you squeeze it from the tube. It contains orange oil (smells good enough to eat) and beeswax to soften and protect your lips. This is *far* better than lip balms I've tried in the past. It dries to a matte consistancy, meaning you can use lipstick straight after without it sliding around on a film of goo. It feels a bit weird at first, you have to leave it a few seconds to sink in. It ...  Read the complete review
