Advantages: Super soft feet!
Disadvantages: None
*Superdrug intensive foot cream* I have to apologise for this op – I am a foot hater and since this is a foot cream... Fellow foot haters, please look away now. Saying that I love my boyfriend’s feet – so soft, the swine. I have small, horrible dry feet – I always have had. Fed up of having horrible feet compared to Mike’s baby soft ones I decided on drastic action – buying some kind of foot cream. I look at the wellbeing/Boots website but the foot cream I liked the look of was out of stock so I decided to wait a while. I waited until I went to Superdrug in town and saw something that look pretty good – Superdrug Intensive foot cream. The packaging of this product is simple yet very effective. The clear packaging looks so uncomplicated and yet it includes an inner lid to prevent spillage. Just as well because the inner lid often gets splashed with cream (say if I put it in a bag and take it to my boyfriend’s house) yet none of it ever leaks. On the top is a turquoise foot sticker, and on the bottom the directions for use. The cream itself is a pale mint blue colour, very cold and creamy! Its thick enough to be richly moisturising, yet sinks in pretty fast. This is great for me because I’m pretty impatient – I hardly ever apply my eczema cream to my hands because it takes about an hour to sink in! (Cream on mouse, books, food... Yuk!) Containing lemon, tea tree & almond oil the cream claims to moisturise & condition. So does it? Well, yes! I love this little tub of cream. I have very dry feet and yet it leaves them very soft and fresh. It has a delicate fragrances which is so subtle (a gentle lemon scent) yet deodorises (no, I don’t need a foot deodorant!). Apparently lemon & tea tree are naturally anti-bacterial & deodorants, whilst almond oil is an intense moisturiser. It is best to apply this cream after a bath or shower to seal in mois
ture. I like to smear it on at night and then put on my slippers. My feet feel so soothed and revitalised, even after exercise or lots of shopping! I honestly never thought I would find a foot cream to pamper, moisturise & refresh my feet but I have. (I even force my poor boyfriend to have it on his feet!) I think this cost about £2.35. I’ve been using this for about a month and I’ve still got lots left so its very good value. Buy some, put up your feet and relax.
