I have tried many tinted moisturisers, from the cheap'n'cheerful supermarket brands to the bank-busting designer French ranges, and Superdrug's Optimum tinted moisturiser is by by far the best. There are usually three problems with a product like this. Firstly, the shade may be all wrong. With this one the colour seems just to melt into the skin, and would suit anyone of any skin tone. Secondly, as with all foundations, it may be tricky to apply. This one is almost impossible to overload, and easy to wipe off if you do. Thirdly, most don't have a high enough protection factor. The factor here is SPF15.
What I like most about this product is that it gives good coverage without making you look 'made up'. It does not have a greasy shine and though it's not matt it seems just to give the skin a healthy glow. It feels comfortable on the face, looks good for a whole day, and is easy to remove when you want to.
The packaging is very plain, and you wouldn't want to show off the generously sized 75ml bottle. But at the price they ask, you can ignore such considerations. It will easily last a whole summer, and unless you need heavier coverage in the winter you could use it for the whole year. I shall.
If you didn't like it, though I can't imagine why you wouldn't, Superdrug give refunds with no fuss.
