All the tampons stayed in until no longer wanted (when they sometimes just drop into the toilet bowl, which is convenient but perhaps not so good for the plumbing). They absorb the blood very evenly. Unlike other tampons I've used in the past, which were full (red) on one side, empty (white) on the other, and were leaking into my underwear before they were full. Tesc...more

Premium Review Other Tampons: Tesco's Tampons (618 words)

I've stayed clear of low-cost tampons after experiences with another brand, where the tampons came sliding out in the most embarrassing situations. For a long time, I stuck to the trusted Lillets and Tampax, unwilling to risk such awkwardness again. At last, while I was doing online shopping at Tesco's, and was about to run out of tampons, I decided to give their product a try. The price - £1.40 for a pack of 32 'super' sized ones made me suspicious. I thought I had misread, and wondered what the quality would be like. By comparison, a 32 pack of 'super' LilLets costs £2.77. Elsewhere I've seen packs of 16 LilLets for almost ...

I asked Dooyoo to add a category for this product, but they seem to be moving a little slowly, so I thought I’d just post it here instead, although technically a Mooncup isn’t a tampon. I apologise if this review is in the wrong place, also apologise in advance to any blokes who are grossed out by this review ;-) So what is the Mooncup? The Mooncup is a little rubber article you can buy from Mooncup.co.uk. it’s a menstrual cup about two inches long and made of soft silicone rubber, with a thin end for easy removal. It is worn internally and forms a seal with your vaginal walls. It holds an ounce of liquid, which is on average a third of your ...

Premium Review Other Tampons: Asda Tampons are rubbish!! (147 words)

I have to say, that following a recent expedition to Asda, I felt the need to purchase some tampax. Instead of buying my usual favourite, I decided to purchase Asda's own Freestyle tampons. I have to be honest, I bought "super" and they're rubbish. They totally have to be changed every 2 minutes, for fear of embarrassment. But having said that, I dont really think any tampons are particularly good, but I really would advise against the Asda ones. If you do feel the need to "invest" in the Asda ones, be sure to add some nappies to your shopping basket to supplement them, or else you could find yourself ...

internal and secret!, lots of choice none

Can be used with any sort of underwear, comes with a nifty little case, did I mention that this was the world's smallest pantyliner? It might take a bit of getting used to the strategic positioning required by such a small pantyliner.

reasonably priced and chic packaging, vanilla flavoured colours are too bold for my liking

Pretty and trendy this season No evidence (on my part anyway) that they actually work.
