I didn't believe the claims at first, but I thought I'd give Pearl Drops a try and it really does work. As I have to talk to a lot of clients face to face at work and frequently smile, I realised I had to use a toothpaste that could keep my teeth white so I wouldn't be embarassed when I flashed my pearly whites at the customers. Thankfully Pearl Drops whitened my teeth and it really does keep the stains off your tee...more

Crowned Review Other Toothpaste: A Rapid White Smile... (738 words)
by - written on 27/06/02 (Very useful, 1126 readings)
Rating:

My latest beauty addition is the Rapid White Tooth whitening System, which I recently purchased from Boots. I actually bought the starter kit, to get me started (what else would I use it for!). It was actually my Husband's idea, not sure if that was a comment on the yellowing on my teeth caused through copious quantities of Black Coffee and Red Wine, in no particular order. Anyway, we both picked up a kit, which were priced at £7.95 each. When I got to the checkout, the very nice Boots Lady stated if we spent over £20 we got a fiver off, so I dually picked up a normal size tube of the Whitening Toothpaste in the same range, also priced at £7.95. Soon I will have ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Aquafresh: the Toothpaste that is Red, White and Blue (606 words)
by - written on 26/06/05 (Very useful, 222 readings)

It's funny but I've never been loyal to one particular brand of toothpaste. Although I tend to go for the major brands, like Colgate, I am always happy to try any brand as long as it is reasonably priced. Having squeezed every last bit of toothpaste from my existing tube of Colgate Whitening, it was time to go shopping. So off I went to Morrisons to see what I could find. Despite the plethora of brand names and own-label toothpastes on display, I eventually opted for a tube of Aquafresh 'Fresh and Minty'. * What made me choose Aquafresh? * Not surprisingly, the main reason for me buying Aquafresh was the price. At only 91p (100ml tube), it is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other Toothpaste: Signal The Way To Cleaner Teeth (297 words)
by - written on 05/11/04 (Very useful, 81 readings)
Rating:

As we all know, we are supposed to clean our teeth twice a day so you might as well try and get a toothpaste that you like! I buy Signal toothpaste because I dont like toothpastes that have a strong taste of mint and above all, this is very affordable. I buy it from Morrisons for around 59p. It is widely available from most supermarkets and other shops. The toothpaste comes in a 50ml tube which is in a box. The main colours on the box and tube are red, blue and white with Signal written in bold dark blue letters. On the box it says it has family protection, it protects against decay, strengthens tooth enamel and it is fluoride efficacy ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tree-mendous teeth - the natural way (Vicco Ayurvedic toothp ... (731 words)

Finding a toothpaste that wasn't produced by one of the big animal testing companies was, for me, like trying to find a needle in the proverbial haystack. Finding one that didn't have a minty flavour (can't stand mint!) seemed an impossibility. Thankfully, I soon discovered Vicco Ayurvedic toothpaste. No, I had never heard of it either until I saw it on a website (more later) but I was determined not to let this bother me. Similarly, it did not look the best packaged toothpaste I have seen with its simple lettering on a plain white box, not to mention the fact that among its many ingredients is none other than tree bark! Anyway, here is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other Toothpaste: Not a carie in the world... (863 words)

Yotuel "Whitening System" Toothpaste Yotuel claims to be more than just a toothpaste…. it’s a “Whitening System.” Not only that, it is also, apparently, “The Intelligent Whitening Toothpaste.” Um, call me old fashioned, but isn’t that a bit of a far-fetched claim by anyone’s standards? How can toothpaste be “intelligent?” Well, I will seek to answer that tricky question, on behalf of the manufacturers. According to the blurb on the box, the leaflet and the tube itself, this toothpaste contains certain ingredients, in specific quantities, that make it unique – namely, ...  Read the complete review
