Advantages: not a strong minty taste
Disadvantages: none
As we all know, we are supposed to clean our teeth twice a day so you might as well try and get a toothpaste that you like!
I buy Signal toothpaste because I dont like toothpastes that have a strong taste of mint and above all, this is very affordable. I buy it from Morrisons for around 59p. It is widely available from most supermarkets and other shops.
The toothpaste comes in a 50ml tube which is in a box. The main colours on the box and tube are red, blue and white with Signal written in bold dark blue letters.
On the box it says it has family protection, it protects against decay, strengthens tooth enamel and it is fluoride efficacy tested, Also if using fluoride supplements then to consult your dentist this is because Signal already contains Sodium Fluoride.
Although we brush our teeth everyday, we still need regular dental check ups. The flouride concentration in Signal actually strengthens tooth enamel, hardening teeth on the outside and so helping to protect against decay.
On the box it also says that parents should ensure that children brush their teeth twice a day and that children under 7 should use a pea sized amount to minimise swallowing. After brushing your teeth, you need to rinse you mouth well with water.
The toothpaste itself is white with red strips along it. There is a definate taste of mint but it isnt strong like some others I have used in the past. I will continue to buy this toothpaste as it isnt strong in taste, it is fairly mild. Since I started buying it a couple of years ago then I have noticed a definate improvement.
