This lipgloss and cheek tint set is one of the best and most treasured pieces of makeup that I own, and that is saying a lot!
The two products can only be bought together as a set and come in a small cardboard box, in typical philosophy packaging- cute but not particularly chic-looking. The lipgloss is very, VERY thick, and gives MAC's 'lipglass' a run for its money, although a non-biased source informs me that the MAC lipglass is "....slightly thicker". It comes in a cute clear tube, that is relativley easy to apply from, although I guess you waste a fair amount of the lipgloss on your fingers, since there is (obviously) no brush applicator. What is so delicious about the lipgloss however, and also the cheektint, is the smell, which is just DEEEE-licious!!! It smells literally of fresh roses.
The cheek tint is just as FABULOUS as the lipgloss, it is a watery reddy-pinky liquid, that u use as a blusher and as a lip-stain. I have personally never used the tint as a lipstain, as I find it is too rich a colour for me, however, mix a little on your hands with some of the gloss, and u have a fantastic, and very 'Cameron Diaz' style tinted lipgloss.
As for using it on the cheeks, the tint can look fabulous, but it is very, VERY easy to put too much on (I often dilute it with water, as the colour can be too strong), and at first it can be difficult to blend without leaving a 'tide' mark, but once mastered, this cheek tint can give the most amazing and natural blush from a makeup product. OOh, and the tint comes with an eyeshadow-style sponge applicator, which is a waste of time, and it is far better to use your fingers, again this results in a lot of wastage.
I also use the tint around the eye area, dunno if you're supposed to do this! but I find that a little blended into the eye socket helps brighten the eyes, as I tend to wear only eye liner.
Overall I would say this is a great investement, a little pricey,but then u can use the product for so many
things.... and ooooooohhh, it smells SOOOOO NICE!!!
