Advantages: Smells Great, Value for Money, Really Moisturising

Disadvantages: None

I've just got out of a bubble bath containing Radox 'Proven to Relax' Herbal Bath in Moisture Soak. I'm clean, I'm silky-soft, I'm relaxed, I'm good-natured, and I smell like heaven. In fact, I am so fragrant and velvety that it's just a shame for you that you're not snuggled up next to me right now (LOL).

The Proven to Relax range comprises 8 varieties, which are:

Stress Relief - to relieve tension
Time Out - to aid tranquility
Muscle Soak - for aching muscles
Original - to calm the emotions
Sleep Easy - to help you sleep (of course!)
Warming - to relieve congestion
Replenish - to soothe skin
Moisture Soak - to condition the skin

According to the blurb on the bottle - and the name of the product itself, Radox has been scientifically proven to relax. I don't dispute this, but think the same could be said of any bubbly nice-smelling liquid poured into a warm bath.

However, that is no criticism of Radox. I absolutely love the stuff, particularly the Moisture Soak, which leaves my skin softer than other bubble baths I've tried at three times the price.

The Bottle:

Moisture Soak comes in a clear 250 ml bottle with a pink lid. On the front is the familiar Radox logo and a picture of what I think is some pink steam coming off some pink water.

The Bubble Bath:

Moisture Soak is baby pink in colour. I'm not normally a fan of this colour, but in a bubble bath it's very appealing, bringing to mind baby?s bottoms, marshmallows and other things squashy and fluffy.

To use, just pour a little under a running tap and watch those bubbles multiply.

The Smell:

Moisture Soak contains calendula, but never having smelt calendula I don't know if this is what it's perfumed with or not. To me the smell of Moisture Soak is sweet, flowery, talcy and marshmallowy all at once. Delicious, is what sprin
gs to my mind when I smell it.

Effects:

After just five minutes immersed in the soft bubbles and sweet fragrance I can feel myself unwinding and drifting off into blissful tranquility.

When I get out of the bath my skin is left feeling incredibly soft and smooth, and this feeling lasts until my next bath.

The fragrance is also long-lasting, and I can often smell it still on my skin next morning.

Sensitivity:

For a product so effective, Moisture Soak is incredibly gentle. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all, so I would recommend it to everyone, unless, of course, you are sensitive to all perfumes.

Price:

All of the Radox products are a bargain. A 250 ml bottle will only set you back about £1.50, and at the moment it's 2 for £2 in Tesco, so you can't go wrong.

Other info:

It's made by Sara Lee, she of frozen Apple Strudel, Lemon Meringue Pie and Double Chocolate Gateau fame.

Website: http://www.radox.co.uk (though it's not very interesting and there's no freebies going).

Lie back and enjoy.

I must have tried all the range of Radox products. Just had a Radox bath tonight myself.

I am normally confused by the extent of their range. Who knows which one to soak in!
