Advantages: relax, does work, smells lovely
Disadvantages: none
Typical it has happened again, the other day I did a review on Radox Muscle Soak and paid nearly £2 for it and today it is on offer and I bought this one together with another muscle soak. The packaging of the Stress Relief Herbal Bath is very similar to the Muscle Soak. It is in a transparent oblong plastic bottle with a jadey coloured pull and twist lid. the liquid is the same colour as the lid, a nice jade colour and the same constituency of a normal bubble bath, whoops I mean soak. It has Radox on the front and a picture of the sea splashing over some rocks. This one has rosemary added to it which is renowned to relieve tension and restlessness. On the back of the label it states that it has been specially formulated for you to leave you calm and relaxed. So here we are again running the bath and the tap is spouting out water everywhere. I pour two capfuls under the tap and it bubbles up really well, infact my bath is now more bubbles than water and the smell is so clean and fresh. You can definatley smell the rosemary in it, however when the smell was filling the bathroom it just reminded me off the muscle soak and I had to double check I was using the right one. In the end I decided to open them both and compare the smells and yes Stress Relief has more of a stronger bitter smell to it than the muscle soak. Now although this bubbles up well, it is not as good as the Muscle soak. Neither is the smell I am afraid to say that I prefer the other one. But it does do its job and my hubby prefers this one as it does not sting or irritate his psoriasis. Obviously everyone is different and will have a favourite one. I soaked in the bath for a long 20 mins and then got out feeling all nice and clean and refreshed and it left my skin nice and soft and left a light fragrance on my
body. The smell did not linger in the bathroom much after the bath was emptied either. Yes I would recommend it, but maybe I do not have enough stress in my life and I prefer the Muscle Soak by Radox. Maybe when I get a bit more stressed out this will help me more. But it does smell ok and is a product that I trust and it is gentle on your skin but I prefer Muscle Soak to this. I paid £1.99 for this and got the Radox Muscle Soak free with it. It is also on sale at most chemists and supermarkets. Also I must admit the other night when i used the other one it made me conk out the whole night and for the first time in ages, I slept for 10 hours. Radox has come a long way since we all used to associate grans putting their bath salts in the bath. They have moved with the times and have created mood baths, like muscle soak, stress and relax all in modern colours and packaging. They also do shower gels for those of you who prefer a quick shower and I always have a bottle or two of this stocked away somewhere. Karen
