This is a new foray for me. I?m reviewing make up. I am one of those girls who really can not be bothered putting a full face of make up before I go out. I would prefer the extra quarter of an hour in bed. However I will wear make up for special occasions. Luckily my elder sister has a good make up box I can borrow but on Saturday I had to purchase mascara for a wedding I was going to the next day. I toddled down to Superdrug and selected a Rimmel Exaggerate full volume and curl brown black mascara. The purchase decision. I picked Rimmel as it is a brand I have used before and also because it was the cheapest band without being kids ... Read the complete review

I was in my local superdrug buying things when I stopped and had a look at the make up section, there were a lot of eye catching things at the Rimmel section so I had a good look there. With the new Star Shine products advertised by Kate Moss I have to say Rimmel are improving with their products. There are nice lipsticks with glitter which just leave a faint trace of glitter which is nice and a light colour on your lips. This was not what I wanted now but these were on offer from £4.49 to £3.49. This was not exactly what I was looking for because I am not much of a lipstick wearer. I then looked to the right and saw a nice pencil so I picked it up and read what ... Read the complete review

I have two make up bags. One is filled with the top of the range of Beauty products, and the other with Rimmel. Their lipstick and lipliner pencil are treasures I can't do without. I am often asked how I keep my lipstick on through meals, wine, talking, and I just answer Rimmel. The range of colours in Shimmer or cream textured lipsticks is vast, and they all last the distance. I begin with the pencil in the shade of the lipstick I'm using. Outline, fill in with the pencil, powder with the Rimmel translucent powder, apply the lipstick with a lip brush, wait, blot and re-apply once more. A couple of coats of Rimmel 'Curly' ... Being naturally very pale-skinned, I used to be fed up with buying blushers that you had to put on with military precision - too little and I looked like I was anaemic, too much and I looked like I'd been on the sunbed too long! Anyway, I have now found the answer to my blusher problem, and that is the Rimmel 'Blush' range, to be more specific the 'Smoked Oyster' shade. It is the only blusher I have found that is light enough so that you can put it on in thin layers, until you get the shade you want. I recommend this particular shade to anyone who has very pale skin, like me, who wants a blusher that is suitable for the daytime, ... Read the complete review

I am normally a fan of body shop makeup , however one day i had just finished my nail varnish as i had a party to go to . I suddendly realised that i did not have a lip stick to go with my nail varnish . Luckily it was a Saturday so i popped down to my local village chemist . They only had Rimmel to chose from , and i was surprised at the variety of clours avaliable . Luckily the Sugar Plum lipstick matched my nail varnish perfectly so i was saved . I was really impressed with how smooth the lipstick was to apply and how long it lasted . I have been using Rimmel Lipsticks ever since . A word of advice Rimmel lipsticks are fairly oily and they can become ... Read the complete review
