The Spectacular make up range is available in a wide range of shops all over the country, including clothes shops and accessory shops. It offers a wide range of cheap make up in a wide range of colours.

It has everything from lipsticks, nail varnishes, foundation, blusher, mascara, eye shadow and almost anything else you can think of.

The plus side to it is that it is very cheap, about £1.20 for a lipstick and £2-£3 for some nail varnish depending on where you go. As it is so cheap it is great to experiment with different colours to suit you.

The down side to it of course is that it is cheap and therefore this reflects the quality of the products. I have personally only tried the lipstick and the nail varnish, therefore can only comment on these.

Spectacular lipstick is very greasy and the colour only lasts about 30 minutes. However if you apply a topcoat of clear lip gloss, it lasts a little bit longer.

The nail varnish looks good for a couple of hours, and then it begins to chip. Again applying a topcoat will make it last a bit longer. It's ok it you just want to wear it for one night out. It also takes quite a long time to dry and tends to go gloopy quite quickly.

On the whole, the Spectacular range is good for experimenting and good for those on a limited budget, but they say that you get good quality if you are prepared to pay for it, and in this case, I think that this happens to be true.
