Having babies is lovely and bringing a new life into the world is the most beautiful thing but sometimes the stretchmarks left aren't so beautiful! It is not only pregnancy that can cause such stretch marks but also putting on weight and even some forms of exercise that make you stretch a lot. They are not harmful to the skin but they look a bit ugly and are like corned beef. When I was pregnant I started to get stretchies at about 27 weeks and they go worse as my baby grew bigger and by the full term I looked like a map of the uk motorways network!
