As many of you now I suffer from M.E, which can be quite debilitating. Since Christmas 2001 my ability to walk has become very restricted making going anywhere practically impossible. We decided to look into getting me a wheelchair. First of all we looked at second hand ones in the local newspapers, but all the ones we looked at were in a pretty poor state, with torn seats, missing footplates and bald tyres! So next we decided to look into buying a new one. Prices range from £200 upwards for an attendant propelled folding wheelchair.
