Advantages: Clear skin , Easy to obtain, Value for money
Disadvantages: Your bath will need cleaning
Get your kit off, rub all over and wash off. Hello and welcome to my review. Go-on it was the title that got you here? Wasn't it? Not misleading really because you will have to get naked to look at your skin! So how's it looking? Tired, dull a bit dry and scaly after wearing the winter woollies. Looking forward to shrugging of the winter warmers, lathering on the suntan or the self-tan lotion and getting ready to party. "I wish" I hear you cry. Well ok you just want your skin to feel and look good. So sit back relax and I will tell you about a product that I have been using for a couple of years now. *Te Tao wild rice and oatmeal body polish* Chinese Herbal Therapy. Te Tao body polish or 'The way of virtue' Te being the Chinese word for virtue. Tao - The way forward. An exfoliating body wash, containing extracts of Chinese angelica and green tea. Sandalwood oil: with a heady perfume and properties to combat dry skin. Frankincense: wonderful for reviving tired and dry skins. Pumice stone: To gently tone and smooth the skin. Perfume Well this is very personal; but the product does contain Green tea and has got a 'sweet tea' aroma. A little lift of the lid and a good sniff maybe in order, but don't tell anyone I told you to do that. Directions Ta Tao body polish can be used in the shower or bath; the packaging is a very pale green plastic tube. Squeeze the product onto the palm of your hand, I find about the size of about a fifty pence piece is ample, then massage onto wet skin to buff, polish and exfoliate, paying extra attention to elbows and knees that are often get a bit scaly. Well mine do! (Thought I'd share that with you.) When first applied it can feel a bit muddy in texture but then it foams a little and glides easily over the skin, leaving tiny little granules as it goes, finis
h with good rinse and you do need to take care too rinse it all off or you may get the ouch factor. The texture of this product is by design grainy, and from personal experience I have found it preferable to use in the shower A) Because it is easier to rinse of and if you leave any residue it will be scratchy on your the skin. B) It is uncomfortable on the old (or in your case young) bottom, and feels like you are sitting on a sand sheet. Yuk. There you're finished and out the shower/bath pat your self-dry and you ready to moisturise with you favourite lotion or potion. So where can you purchase this product. Boots Waitrose Super drug Tesco The recommended retail price is £3.95 per 200ml / 6.7 fl oz This price appears to remain stable across all retailers, and is usually well stocked. And lastly the results; Smooth, clean skin that feels revitalised and fresh. The down side is a gritty bath or shower that needs cleaning. Thank you for reading. Take care.
