Toni & Guy hair products in general: toni and guy products - the real story (205 words)

toni & guy started the tigi range (TIGI - T G, get it?!) but from what i can make out there has been some sort of upset between the english arm and the american arm (who now seem to own tigi) so toni & guy uk, although still stocking tigi, no longer really support it. they have a new range, label.m which they have developed and is now their "feature" range. TONI&GUY products sold in boots have never really had much to do with toni and guy. boots make them and pay toni and guy for the privilege of using their name. the address given in the original review to contact toni and guy is, in fact, an address for boots. such ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review End result 3 Fragrance 0 (312 words)

Shampoo is not an easy thing to review as every persons hair is completely different, what doesn't suit me will probably be great on the next person so this is a completely personal review, bear in mind that for you the results will probably be completely different so don't let me put you off giving it a try! This review is for the Toni and Guy frizz smoothing shampoo that comes in a white pouch with Toni and Guy in big red letters on the front. The pouch size is 75ml-can't remeber how much it cost as it was free in a boots promotion a while back (i'm too tight to buy designer hair products normally!) I can't say i am very impressed with it, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Toni & Guy hair products in general: T & G TX Wax - GIANT SLUGS ARE EATING MY HEAD....... (730 words)
by - written on 06/07/05 (Very useful, 2677 readings)
Rating:

Toni & Guy TX-Wax was purchased from the Toni & Guy salon in Altrincham on the recommendation of a colleague for £5.99. Normally I wouldn’t dream of splashing out so much cash on hair wax, but I can’t stress enough how long I had to listen to this product being praised! The wax is flesh coloured and is packaged in a transparent cylinder (similar to a stick deodorant). The Toni & Guy logo is written up the side of the packaging in red lettering. Without going into too much detail on the actual packaging it does state that Toni & Guy X-Wax is for hip hair wear that holds, shines and defines. On closer inspection of the packaging it again builds ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review This is my 2nd favourite haircare range - 2nd because of the ... (409 words)

If anyone else has used this haircare range, then they might agree with the packaging. The Shampoo and Conditioner come in red, foil pouches. They have white screw on lids and are plain awkward to get the liquid out. You have to squeeze it out and that is tough when you are trying to wash your hair. Trust me. Anyway that is the only moan I have about this range of haircare products. The 2 items I use are Balance It Shampoo - which is for combination hair - greasy roots and dry ends. The packet claims to boost, revitalise and equalise hair. As far as I know it does this. It makes my hair soft, very shiny and has a beautiful smell that lingers on my hair. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Toni & Guy hair products in general: Splurge on this (460 words)
by - written on 23/10/01 (Very useful, 880 readings)

This is going to have to be quite a short opinion as there’s not a great deal to say about shampoo, but hair (very funny) we go... I only bought this product range as it was on three for two (I'm stingy you see)and I have to agree with leannes opinion in this section that the pouches are a pain in the arse. The shampoo and conditioner range only comes in pouches which I assume they are using as a gimmick, but if they are it's a bad one. They look like they do not contain as much product as a bottle, although they do. Once you have used them a few time the pouches have a tendency to fall down, difficult when you're covered in shampoo ...  Read the complete review
