Advantages: Great volume, shine and smell
Disadvantages: A bit pricey for an everyday
On a recent short break with no hold baggage allowed, my flatmate and I invested in some mini products to comply with the laws about liquids in hand baggage. In Boots Umberto Giannini was buy one get one free so we went for these products.
It has been a while since I have used "expensive" shampoos - I find I invest £5 in them (then add on conditioner to that and it's a tenner) and then they're not that good. I was a HUGE Sunsilk fan (where did you go?????!!) and now I stick to Herbal Essences and it's about £3 and usually on offer in Tesco. (Though the new formulation is VILE - but that is another review).
Anyway in the quest for beautiful hair in a mini bottle we chose the volumising shampoo and conditioner, and spray (green) and also the shine shampoo and conditioner (yellow). Mine was the green and it was fantastic. I have fine hair but lots and lots of it, and this made my hair shiny and sleek with some bounce in it without frizz. The volumising spray was great sprayed onto the roots of my hair before blow drying. The smell was lovely without being cloying and the movement in my hair lasted all day. Most shampoos these days just overload my hair and flatten it to the point of looking greasy but this didn't. My flatmate agreed that her shine shampoo and conditioner did a brilliant job. We even used the spray as a multi purpose hairspray as we forgot the legendary Elnett in our rush to get the airport - and it did a fab job.
I would consider stringly the idea of going full size for these shampoos - even if it costs a bit more, the results are fantastic.
Summary: Try out in small size and invest if you approve!
