They told me it was from the new Urban Decay Christmas edition and I had to buy them right away. I bought the 3 glitter eye liners that came together as a set, the quality was awesome and I loved the different effects I could create with them. This was one of my first purchases and I just had to try more of their products. Ever since then, I've been hooked on Urban Decay. My favourite products are: their primer p...more

Crowned Review Urban Decay in general: Gunk me up baby! (635 words)

Urban Decay, once exclusively the haunt of teenage goths trying to make a statement (I confess I was one once, and no detriment to 'em) now seems to have mellowed a little in it's old age. This is no bad thing I assure you, for whilst the range still has it's signature bold eyeshadows, liners, lipsticks and gunks, more and more colours are being introduced to appeal to a wider market. Personally, I have invested in the lip gunk, liquid eye-liner, mascara and eyeshadow. Although I should point out they are a little more expensive than your average brands, you get what you pay for. These products are not by any standards, average. You will be forking ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review one of my favourite brands (383 words)

Since I first discovered Urban Decay in 2005, they have become on of my favourite cosmetics brands. I know they've been around before then and I did notice their make up counter in the shops around about 2002, but I never really bothered to try out any of their stuff. I was on a bit of a budget make up wise so, whilst I thought their eye shadows were vibrant and lovely, I thought I'd stick to less expensive brands (I used to use Maybelline, L'Oreal, Bourjois and any other reasonable brands). I noticed a sales assistant wearing this glitter liner and another wearing the glitter sparsely all over her lid, I just had to ask what that stuff was, as I'd never seen ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Urban Decay in general: Does pink make you puke? (1640 words)

Launched in January 1996 with the above tagline in magazines, Urban Decay is for people who like their makeup loud, proud and beautiful. With its “finger on the pulse of alternative culture”, and colours like “Smog”, “Acid Rain”, and “Oil Slick”, Urban Decay is truly a brand for the modern city girl…or boy if you want to be that progressive. Definitely a trend-setter, Urban Decay is often imitated but never equalled. My second favourite make-up range (the first being the one from the Lush people…B never too busy to be beautiful), I am truly addicted to it. With innovative products like honey flavoured body dusting powder , Lip Gunk and “Good Karma” ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Instant Attitude! (868 words)

Urban Decay... Possibly my second favourite brand of make up. Depending on my mood- sometimes it's my favourite. For every day, i'm a girlie "BeneFit" girl, but sometimes you need a bit of OOOMPH! While Benefit makes you look like a natural beauty, Urban Decay can create an edgy, mysterious, exciting, funky unnatural impact for even the most timid Tilly. What i own from this range: 1 Face Case. 1 Hot Box. 2 Lip Gunks. 2 Eye Shadows. 1 Liquid Eye Liner. 1 Lipstick If you count all the different contents of the Face Case and the Hot Box, you will come to the conclusion that i really do own quite a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Urban Decay in general: Not Too Shabby! (239 words)

The Urban Decay line has pretty well deviated from its old slogan: "Does pink make you puke?" They now offer more shades of pink than you can shake a proverbial stick at. Their "freaky" shades are becoming few and far between. However, there are still plenty of fun colors and products in this line. The quality of the line varies wildly from product to product. Some of their products simply are not worth the somewhat lofty pricetags. The two all-around best products are the Lip Gunk and their liquid eye liners. Both are of good quality, are easy to apply, and come in great colors - they're both definitely worth the money. The lipsticks and ...  Read the complete review
