Since I first discovered Urban Decay in 2005, they have become on of my favourite cosmetics brands. I know they've been around before then and I did notice their make up counter in the shops around about 2002, but I never really bothered to try out any of their stuff. I was on a bit of a budget make up wise so, whilst I thought their eye shadows ... Read the complete review

Launched in January 1996 with the above tagline in magazines, Urban Decay is for people who like their makeup loud, proud and beautiful. With its “finger on the pulse of alternative culture”, and colours like “Smog”, “Acid Rain”, and “Oil Slick”, Urban Decay is truly a brand for the modern city girl…or boy if you want to be that ... Urban Decay... Possibly my second favourite brand of make up. Depending on my mood- sometimes it's my favourite. For every day, i'm a girlie "BeneFit" girl, but sometimes you need a bit of OOOMPH! While Benefit makes you look like a natural beauty, Urban Decay can create an edgy, mysterious, exciting, funky unnatural impact for ... Read the complete review

I walked into Boots one day looking for some new make-up to add some pizaz to my make-up collection. I was tired of the smokey eyes and nudes that were my two basic looks. Instead of heading for the usual haunt of the Revlon, Maybelline, Boujoir stands I decided to look at the brands I hadn't tried before. The Urban Decay make-up ... Read the complete review

I discovered Urban Decay about a year and a half ago, recommended by a friend. Having greasy skin, make-up tends to fade fast, but this make-up is different. It lasts longer than any other that I have ever tried. Being a sweater too in the summer months, I never used to be able to wear any make-up at all, especially for nights out. It would just ... Urban Decay, once exclusively the haunt of teenage goths trying to make a statement (I confess I was one once, and no detriment to 'em) now seems to have mellowed a little in it's old age. This is no bad thing I assure you, for whilst the range still has it's signature bold eyeshadows, liners, lipsticks and gunks, more and more colours ... Read the complete review

Urban Decay used to sell itself as the make-up of the unconventional, with crazy colours and innovative ideas. Urban Decay certainly inspired other make-up brands to become more daring with their ranges, but it appears that this might have lost Urban Decay its specialist niche: now we can buy our quirky coloured make-up from boots 17, is there ... The Urban Decay line has pretty well deviated from its old slogan: "Does pink make you puke?" They now offer more shades of pink than you can shake a proverbial stick at. Their "freaky" shades are becoming few and far between. However, there are still plenty of fun colors and products in this line. The quality of the line ... Read the complete review

Although I think this range does try a bit hard to be different, it does have some excellent products. I particularly like their cover-up (cloud cover). It comes in a dinky tin and has a green section which both treats and covers up spots as well as the usual flesh coloured concealer which also doubles up as a foundation. It is much better at ... I so want to love the Urban Decay range of makeup. I was entranced by the unusual ‘Does Pink Make You Puke?’ advertising campaign and determined to seek out their products as soon as possible. Here was a company, it seemed (from reading the blurb on their website), who realised that not all women want to buy pearly pink lipsticks with ... Read the complete review
