Vitamins and mineral supplements (Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements in General)

Advantages: Replaces the goodness not gained from a bad diet Disadvantages: Some are too large in size to swallow In todays hectic life style there are not many of us that manage to maintain a healthy balanced diet all the time. The pace of life takes its toll on people these days, especially me for one. I am not the type of person to take vitamins and minerals for the sake of it. I do try my best to have a varied diet and to be healthy, but there just isn't enough hours in the day sometimes to fit in cooking a nice healthy dinner for the family. I am pregnant at the moment, so I am trying extra hard to eat sensibly. I am carrying twins, and so am being drained twice as much (well thats how it feels to me). I have discovered a vitamin supplement called Pro natal by Sanatogen. It is great. Designed especially for pregnancy and breast feeding. It contains Folic acid as well as all the other vitamins and minerals you need to keep you healthy in pregnancy. These include vit D, E, C, B12, Iron, Zinc and many more making a total of 18 in all. They cost me £4.88 from Boots and were on offer for 3 for 2, bonus!! They are not ridiculously sized so are easy to swallow. They put my mind at ease that I am gettng all that I should be during my pregnancy. I would recommend these!! Summary: My views on vitamin supplements |
