Ok so iv been trying really hard to cut out the rubbish i eat and eat little more healthy.
ok so the 5 a day doesnt work for me as i seem to be working all the time, but i know i need something!
i did have a gym membership, but to actually get my butt down there and do the excercise doesnt make me want to go. even ... my mates wont do a session or 2 with me.
iv just bought some slimming tablets - metabo extreme - beigey brown colour capsules, 60 (lasts approx a month) and im hoping these will work!
so far its day 1, and iv taken the 2 im meant to take at breakfast and lunch. not allowed to take them after 4pm so it works fab for me.
i know im only a size 8-10, but sometimes i see my thighs wobble, or my bum wobbles when i walk! but hey, lets hope i get rid before the summer.
if anyone else has tried slimming pills with good results or no results, please let me know!
il keep this updated as i go. :)

Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements in General

Close to 60% of people will pop a multivitamin/mineral supplement today, and for the most part, thats smart. Doctors agree its hard to get all the nutrients we neen every day, and among other things, studies suggest women who take a multi daily for 15 years have a 75% lower risk of colon cancer. I was surprised when my doctor ... told me, that taking the wrong multivitamin can have health risks, leaving you vulnerable to depression, weakedned bones and even a highter risk of heart disease and cancer. To make sure you are getting all of the benefits from your multi and none of the potential hazards. Make sure it: Has a safe dose of vitamin. Vitamin A is crucial for keeping your eyes, skin, bones, and immune system strong, but experts say getting too much can cause headaches, skin problems, bone loss and even liver damage. And if you are taking other supplements that include vitamin A, you could easily be getting a toxic dose. And be sure to check labels carefully. If your vitamin doesn't disintegrate fully within 20 minutes in half a cup of finegar, it may not be breaking down fully in your body, either and could be shortchanging you of nutrients, especially the B vitamins like folic acid known to help stave off heart disease, colon cancer, depression and even birth defects. One a day vitamins and Your Life brands, along with many drugstore multis, have been tested to disintegrate quickly, and all chewable vitamins do too. If you're past childbearing age, you don't need the 18mg of iron some women's multivitamins contain and getting too much can encourage plaque buildup in the arteries. If you've stopped menstruating, you need only 8mg of iron daily. And that's easy to get without a multi if you eat two servings of iron-rich foods like meat and iron-fortified breads daily.

Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements in General

Vitamins It is thought that food is not absorbed properly by those suffering from ME, so vitamins and mineral supplements can help to replace some of the lost nutrients. They should not be a replacement for food though and a balanced diet is still important. I take Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, Calcium and Evening ... Primrose Oil. I have just started taking Garlic capsules, but do not know if there is any benefit from them yet. Sometimes I swap the Vitamins B & C for a general multivitamin. I do feel that I get some benefit from taking these vitamins. It is not a cure, but well worth a try. Most chemists and supermarkets sell general multivitamins quite cheaply, be careful with ones containing iron as this can cause constipation. If you have particular symptoms that bother you, you may want to try specific vitamins that may help with the symptom. Vitamin A Eye and skin problems Vitamin B Fatigue, loss of muscle tone, anaemia Vitamin C Immunity problems, poor healing Vitamin E Weak muscles, poor circulation Calcium Weak bones and teeth Cod Liver Oil Joint stiffness Garlic Capsules Poor circulation, raised cholesterol Evening Primrose Hormone problems. NB You should always get symptoms checked out by your GP and take there advise when trying any new medication.
