Alberto VO5 So Smooth Smoothing Creme- Anti-Frizz. According to the manufacturer this product aims to smooth frizzy hair, allowing the user to create frizz-free styles. It helps to smooth and straighten the hair and is specifically designed for use with hair staighteners and other heat styling products. Due to it using heat defence technology!!!(Sorry folks dont actually know what this is). However it apparently allows your hair to be sleek and frizz-free.

Packaging

Comes in a plastic red and pink squeezy tube. Looks like an expensive branded product, so stands out on the shelf compared to cheaper alternatives. Flip-top so easy to handle when you are in mid-style. Doesnt leak out if you forget to close it. Wording on the front "VO5 So Smooth Smoothing Creme". Has a sticker on the front showing a set of hair straighteners so you are aware immediately that this product is compatible with heat styling products.

How to use
----------------

Put a small amount of the product in the palm of your hand. Apply to wet hair avoiding the roots. Spread evenly through the rest of your hair. Then blow dry your hair completely from roots to tip. I would suggest that you do use a small amount as too much does make your hair a bit sticky and clumpy. After which straighten your hair as you would normally.

Effects
------------

Having exceptionally thick hair myself i have tried several of this type of product. I was quite happy with the results although do not overdo the amount you actually put in your hair as it can make the hair dull and leave residue on your straighteners. This product really works. You do get frizz-free results. Which can be compareable to far more expensive salon brands. The beauty of this product also is that during the day you can smooth a little over your crown where personally the frizz on my hair starts particularly in hot environments and this will tame frizz for the rest of the day.

Advantages

Smells Delicious!!!!Very light and fresh. This scent does not fade throughout the day. Light non-sticky texture. Although you will still have to wash your hands after use. (which you would do anyway) Results are fabulous and the product fulfills its description. You do get frizz-free results and hair will look healthy. It is also very affordable and there is a wider range of products available in the same range which compliment this product. You dont need to spend a fortune to have great looking hair!!!!

Disadvantages
-----------------

Dont over-do it for reasons stated above. Also think it must be a popular product as it is often out of stock at the retailer where i normally purchase it, so i tend to buy several at once to always have a constant supply.

Would definitely recommend this product to potential buyers. Good value for money and it actually does what it says it will. Smells gorgeous and better than some designer salon brands. Overall rating 5 stars!!!!!!!
