Itchy Flaky Scalp (Vosene)

Advantages: Some easing of itchy scalp

Disadvantages: colour, smell etc

While suffering from extreme stress and anxiety I also developed an extremely itchy scalp, which was also red and had spots on it. I went to the doctor and he advised I should try a tar shampoo; which I did. This didn't have much effect and was expensive so I switched to Vosene

Now, the Vosene did not have a great effect either, but the good points are:

1) it worked as well as the tar shampoo
2) It smelled better
3) It was cheaper.

Downsides:

It didn;t fix the problem. It is a really disgusting colour. The packaging is not exactly attractive. The smell is not that pleasant.

I'm sticking with it until the anxiety and the itchy scalp clear up though - as I haven't found anything else that works better. If anyone else has, then *please* let me know!
