I can't exactly remember how I discovered 'Wet n Wild' cosmetics. I think it was a random email that I received, but I suppose that isn't the most relevant part of my review. I am quite a 'flibbertigibbet' when it comes to cosmetics, and am definitely a 'more is more' kind of a girl. I cannot resist a new product, must own at least 20 shades of pink lipstick (each very slightly different), and even more mascara's, each bought with the promise of lashes to die for! (for which I am still waiting). Anyway, somehow 'Wet n Wild' landed upon my radar. It is a budget brand of cosmetics that are very popular in the USA. It is possible to buy the products ... Wear: 1/5 I received Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in 660A, a shimmery brown color, in a recent makeup swap. It came with another product, their Mega Eyes Trio in Egyptian Sands. I will be reviewing both of these. For a drugstore brand, you gotta hand it to Wet 'n' Wild, they deliver a semi-decent product for a lot less money than their othe rqualitied counterparts. These are absolutely the best low-end lip glosses on the market. They don't quite compare to some of the brands that cost six times as much, but the reformulated pot glosses are definitely something to rave about. They have a depth of colour and quality of shimmer which is very rare at the cheapest end of the market. These are never gritty and are formulated to last reasonably well. They will probably appeal to a wide range of gloss users too, being neither very sticky nor too sheer. Best of all though is the stunning range of colours - all of which, unfortunately, aren't available in this country. My favourites are a goldy-bronze which is great for summer casual ... When I travelled to Canada a several years a go, I purchased a 'Wet 'n' Wild' cover stick as I had left my trusty Clinique corrector at home. It was really cheap as I thought I'd only use it for three weeks whilst I was away. I have never found another cover stick to this day that can hide blemishes as well as that one! I had it for about a year after buying it and used to take it everywhere with me. The reason it was was so good is because, unlike a lot of the cover sticks over here, it was very firm and went on almost dry which ensured that it stayed put after blending for hours. it was also the perfect colour for my skin and as a result ...
