I can't exactly remember how I discovered 'Wet n Wild' cosmetics. I think it was a random email that I received, but I suppose that isn't the most relevant part of my review.

I am quite a 'flibbertigibbet' when it comes to cosmetics, and am definitely a 'more is more' kind of a girl. I cannot resist a new product, must own at least 20 shades of pink lipstick (each very slightly different), and even more mascara's, each bought with the promise of lashes to die for! (for which I am still waiting).

Anyway, somehow 'Wet n Wild' landed upon my radar. It is a budget brand of cosmetics that are very popular in the USA. It is possible to buy the products in larger Boots stores and some Superdrug stores, but primarily it is an internet based company for its customer in the UK.

There is a fantastic range of products available on the website and the prices are extremely competitive. Nothing more than £3.00 as far as I can see.

The down side of buying from the web is that choosing colours can be a bit hit and miss. It is difficult to show a true representation of the products colour and I have purchased both a lip stick and a foundation that I will never wear, but at least I only spent a few pounds, rather less than I would have paid from the door-to-door make up rep whose products are also chosen from a picture!!!

My absolute must buy item would be the Mega Eyes Trios eyeshadow compact. It is a selection of 3 shadows in a compact complete with mirror and applicator. The powder is creamy and long lasting - still there at the end of the day! They have currently been on offer at only 99p* each, so have treated myself to 1 set of each! If you spend over £10 on the web site delivery is also free.

*Apparently they have been overwhelmed by the response to the 99p sale, that orders are currently taking up to 2 weeks to be delivered.

I would thoroughly recommend these cosmetics to anyone who likes variety, a bargain or has teenage relatives. They are cheap and cheerful and a great treat in these credit crunch times!!!!
