Green Day - Live:
... have been 2 occassions in my life in which I ve seen Green Day live, July 2002 and 21st June 2005. Since 1998, Green Day had been a huge part of my musical life, and were my favourite band of all time. (I was even one of THOSE people who would learn trivia about the band members, thinking it would be of use one day). Seeing them the first time for their International Superhits tour was absolutely incredible... Read the full review: time of your life? i think not. by fetisha |

Popstars and Drugs - What's your opinion? ... forum hasn t been written on since 2001, I m quite surprised as today s pop stars can t live without drugs* >Drugs and Music< The music of today and the general view on on taking drugs is one that is far more tolerant than when the Beatles or Stones were popping Acid and smoking/growing cannabis or enjoying N.Y s coke scene. There has always been an affiliation between the music industry and the drug industry, whether it s rappers singing about snorting coke smoking weed or Pete Doherty sitting "as per", with a needle hanging from his arm, the connection between the two has always been evident. Just before I go on, I often wonder to myself, "... Read the full review: Popstars and Hard Drugs by Joe1976 |

Foo Fighters in general ... last week I celebrated my 30th Birthday. It s considered a milestone, and I know my wife had something planned as a surprise. On the morning of Friday 6th June, she handed me a card, saying Happy Birthday, hope you enjoy it! I opened the card to find four tickets to see the Foo Fighters that evening at Wembley Stadium. What a present! I d first noticed they were doing this gig in January, and was gutted to find they had sold out. However, my wife spotted the gig in November and bought Friday tickets straight away. So, off we went to Wembley. We just caught the end of Supergrass, who were supporting the Foos, and got ourselves a beer and settled in our seats for the g... Westlife in general ... one uses the measure of chart success only Westlife are now one of the most successful bands ever in the history of British pop music. That fact probably makes everyone who hears it wish to scream. Undoubtedly Westlife fans will scream because they appear to do so at every mention of their name. The anti-Westlife grouping of which I am one scream at the thought of what a sad reflection this fact is on British music today. I must justify why I dislike Westlife so much. It is that they are so asinine, dull, musically uninspiring, repetitive and visually boring. That boy-bands fill a market need is obvious but at least the early trailblazers of the genre like Take That ha... Read the full review: I Dislike by polydeuces |
