Cradle of Filth in general:
... i heard these albums i realised what people meant when they said they are no longer black metal. The sound is a lot rawer and it is a lot more like what you would expect from a black metal band.
The music is great and i am very happy i bought the CDs. They are talented musicians and Dani's vocals are great, ranging from incredibly high to deep growls. The lyrics are great also and have a lot of meaning.

Slipknot in general ... to explain both Plus THE MUSIC; The members are very good musicians and this is a fact that is usually ignored. THE ATTITUDE; There are many people who think of slipknot as pointless aggresion but there are songs that cover all emotions and they don't have stupidly big egos "I'm not afraid to cry" THE FACT THAT SPREAD METAL; Slipknot got many people in to metal and i am sure ten years in the future many big bands will say they were an influence. Down THE MASKS; They took this a bit too far and for a bit too long. They made people think of them as a joke. Pantera in general ... The music is good and the vocals are also. To reccomend a song i would say f**king hostile as my first choice and "Cemetary gates" as my second. If you have not heard them you are missing out. Tragedy struck when guitarist Dimebag Darell was killed onstage by a "fan". This made a huge feeling of depression in the metal community. Many bands have dediacted songs to dimebag. When Machine head dedicated "aesthetics of hate" to him and the crowd started chanting "DIMEBAG!, DIMEBAG!" it brought tears to my eyes. Marilyn Manson in general ... he stands raising his left hand. The left hand is thought of as the Devil's path. Also when you read the Tarot cars in the "Holy-wood" album backwards they have an accurate reading. That's why in Tarot cards the Devil has his left arm raised. There hundreds of references and hidden messages in his work. Marilyn also has his own art movement which he has named "Celebritarianism", wrote a novel and acted in films. Right, to the music itself. Each album is a very different stage of Marilyn's music and life. However each album has a range of accoustic, electric, slow, fast, loud and quiet songs.
