Tribute Bands in general:
... see many tribute bands. They do tend to make a lot of money if they are good and some of the top ones fetch as much as £500 for one gig.
I remember several years ago going to see the Bootleg Beatles, who were nowhere near as well known back then as they are now. They were excellent and quickly built up their deserved recognition. They were even featured on tv the other night.

Censorship In Music : Should acts like Eminem and Marilyn Manson be Censored? ... more than they are already. To some extent they are, because their songs and show are not broadcast at the time of the day when kids can watch them. Having said this, I do not know Marylin Manson very much, he looks a pretty ugly chap, to be honest, but i do like Eminem a lot and I know that his songs can be quite direct, but I think that we need to accept that his style os that of an artist and he is not worse than many other rappers. In fairness, although Eminem may have some negative influence on some young people, the truth of the matter is that if people had better examples, I mean young people, they would not care about Eminem. The song Scar Tissue was top of the charts in the USA for 16 weeks. Counting Crows in general ... in the US charts and has managed Platinum. Propelled by the main two singles from the album in the opening track "Haginaround" and "Colorblind" (their an american band, they spell colour wrong) which had featured in the movie "Cruel intentions", which the band may have used to their advantage. Around this time David Immerglück joined the band full time doing various instruments. So now onto new stuff, which has happened since "This Desert life".
