Being a big Tool fan I thought I'd buy Mer de Noms as soon as it came out, and i am glad that i did. It is absolutely amazing!!!! Not only is the album amazing, but they are also an amazing live act. I have seen them twice. Once at Glastonbury (a perfect circle were the only reason i went, and well worth it) and once in Manchester (where i met the band afterwards, but sadly not maynard) A perfect Circle live are absolutely amazing, there is no other word to describe it, their energy is fantastic and Maynard's dancing is worth it even without the music, although his dancing was better at Glastonbury than in Manchester... i do have to say...
A perfect Circle's music is heavy, a bit like Tool, although not a lot like them, it is the same genre, but it isn't the same music, this is mainly because most of a perfect circle's music is written by Billy Howerdel, who is A perfect Circle's guitarist and also a rather famous producer. Their sound is unique and may take a few listens to get used to, but once you are used to it you are in love with it. If you haven't heard them i reccomend that you do, go and buy Mer de Noms... NOW!
