Track 4 - When i'm missing you This is more like a slow rock song mixed with a love ballad. a lot of guitar work is used here to try and give it a nice moody smooth sort of feel but for me it just seems plain like the type of song that you wouldn't even notice was playing. Firstly i just wanna state that I know that this is not quite the right category but i have suggested it and will request it to be moved later. Well this is A1's third album to date and was released on the 27th may 2002 but we have seen a lot of drastic changes in their style with this album. i do not want to give away too much about that just now but as you read on you will get the gist of it I think. They were more of a teenagers boyband but now we see them try to adopt a lot more of an adult style of singing. has this worked at all I hear you cry well read on and I will tell you what I think of it........... Track 1 - Caught in th middle This is ...

Premium Review A1 in general: A1's Second Album 'The A-List' (2000) (330 words)

I bought The A List, A1's second album, for my seven year old daughter for Christmas. She had wanted their album or Billie Piper's and I prefer Billie, so had looked for that, but they had sold out in Asda, so A1 it was. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, I thought they were just another boy band - four lads (Paul, Ben, Mark & Christian) all pretty good looking and able to dance - but anything more ? I didn't think so. I didn't mind their version of Take On Me, but I'm old enough to remember (and prefer) the A-Ha version. The video was very good though. Then I heard their second single from this album - Same Old ...
